Making memories on the Gulf of Mexico

Friday's second 4-hour fishing charter, out of Pass-a-grille, was a blast! Because there is so much bait stacking up near the beaches, we decided to stay close and get in as much fishing time as possible. Good choice...the mackerel bite was spotty, but the 'macks' were big! Check out Taylor(left) and Calley(right) with a hefty St.Pete Beach Spanish mackerel, way to go girls!

Karen Sellers and Bud Warman, from Paintsville, Kentucky, asked Calley, who resides in St.Petersburg, to find a charter boat to take them fishing. Well, she found the right boat....Jawbreaker. With good friends Taylor, Christian and Adam on board, good times were had. We caught some “world class” mackerel within 1 mile of the beaches of Tampa Bay. Again, no Kingfish were fooled on this fishing trip, but, any day now they will invade the beaches in good numbers....I hope! We are surprised so far this season to only see small numbers of Kingfish being reported, and believe me, if the Kingfish are there-Jawbreaker fishing charters are catching them.

Grab your group of friends and take them fishing. There is no better way to bond with friends, family or even classmates, than on a Tampa Bay fishing charter like Jawbreaker fishing charters, on St.Pete Beach. Call today and let's make some new memories. Happy fishing to ya! Capt.Dan
