The Stubbs harvest a few Grouper in Tampa Bay

The best thing about being a charter fishing guide in the Tampa Bay area is meeting new people from every walk of life. Recently, Jawbreaker fishing charters had the pleasure of fishing with some real American farmers..straight out of Mississippi-and it was awesome!

Rusty Stubbs, and family, took a little break from the hustle and bustle of maintaining 5,000 acres of corn and beans to go fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. These guys were great, and the fishing wasn't too bad either. As to be expected we had dozens of break-offs...almost more than usual as the big Gags were very aggressive and not giving these guys the slightest of room for pause. I have to give serious props to Riley for getting it done like a pro...and Walt for biggest fish-a 3 foot Lemon shark! Either way, dinner plans were made after putting some nice Groupers in the box.
