Jawbreaker Fishing Charters had the honor of hosting some of the New York Rangers NHL hockey team on Wednesday afternoon. After a 4-hour fishing trip in the morning, we cleaned the boat and got her ready for some plain old cruising. I got the call from left-wing, Sean Avery, explaining that this was their only day off from practice and they just wanted to hang out and relax, maybe see a few sights.
We took these guys to see some of the waterfront real estate that the Tampa Bay area has to offer. Then over to John's Pass fishing village. I figured Gator's would be hopping as it is Spring break. Well, they were happy just taking in the awesome weather that we have been experiencing here in Florida. We hung out in front of Caddy's on the beach for a couple of hours and talked like guys normally talk...use your imagination. All-in-all it was neat listening to the stories and the big names that I grew up on, being an NHL fan.
If you are coming to Florida and need a day of just chilling out on the water, do what the New York Rangers do...call the Jawbreaker, big or small, we cater to all! Check me out with the boys!(from left to right Marian Gaborik, Sean Avery, Capt.Dan Barry, Henrik Lundqvist, Aaron Voros) By the way, the relaxation must have helped...the Rangers beat the living dog snot out of the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday night 5-0. Way to go boys!
