King fishing Tampa Bay

King fishing is hotter than a barrel of fire in the Tampa Bay/St.Petersburg region...right now!!..Go figure, with water temps hitting 90 degrees plus, in the nearshore waters of Tampa Bay and beyond, the Kings don't seem to mind. Schools of Spanish sardines and Pilchards have invaded the the 50 foot mark and every pelagic critter known to man has followed. Check out Jeremy with a big King fish caught less than 15 miles from shore.

Yesterday's half day fishing charter out of Pass-a-grille, on St.Pete Beach, produced a near record number of Summertime Kings for the Jawbreaker fishing team. We're talking about non-stop action from the first bait in the water until the bell rings. I have not seen this kind of mayhem for quite some time folks. We are literally turning each fresh caught Sardine into a big fish. Kings, Barracuda, Bonitos and Sharks are , once again, on the menu...for the Sportfishing fanatic.
