Fishing offshore Tampa/St.Petersburg is really heating up, and the Kings are falling right in line. Just ask Ken Statsick(pictured above) and his fishing crew on Pass-a-grille, St.Pete Beach.
Our little 6-hour fishing charter turned into a mosh pit this past Friday, once the Kings showed up on the flatline. Yeah, there we were just minding our own Grouper catching business when all of a sudden...zzzzzzzeeeee!!!...Our flatlined blue runner got slammed by a very decent King fish, and let the dancing begin...this fish certainly had a mind of its own and fought Ken like his life was on the line..hmmm. And 15 minutes later Ken was finally introduced to his biggest fish ever! Way to go dude.
It was a great day, once again, with a very full and colorful fish box at the end of it. Red Grouper fishing was awesome and the Porgies, snappers and mangos were a very nice addition to a great day of fishing. Thanks to the Statsicks again for being remarkable guests on board the Jawbreaker. Happy fishing to ya folks, Capt.Dan
