Boss Hog

His real name is Michael, but on that fine day of fishing the Jawbreaker...he was simply Boss Hog. Not only did he put 3 of the targeted species, Hogfish, in the box but 3 nice Flounder to boot. Did someone have a horseshoe hidden in their pocket or is it all skill? By the look on Michael's face I'm pretty sure we know the answer.

Every now and then we have to head offshore with a few of the local captains and their crew for a little hospitality fun trip. This time around it was Capt. Patrick, Michael, My right hand 'bad' Brad and our regular go-to guest, Geno, for a little 5 hour light tackle grunt hunt. Add 10 dozen shrimp and a bunch of spinning gear-you can expect a few surprises...like Hogfish, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Porgies and all the Grey snapper you can handle. The fish didn't even have a chance with this crew!

The boys did well and after a few hours the fish box looked like a fish massacre had taken place...and had. Now who's gonna clean all of these fish? Good times, once again...on the Jawbreaker! Happy fishing folks, Capt. Dan
