Our newest St.Pete Beach fishing friend, Paul, came all the way from Northern Ireland to fish famous John's Pass and the nearby Gulf waters. Paul and sons, Nathan, Adam,Luke, and good friends Chris and Julie, had an action packed, rod-bending good time on their 4-hour fishing charter with the Jawbreaker. Check out Paul with a nice Florida Gag Grouper.(pic above) Tight work Dad!
The seas were calm and the nearby thunderstorms actually kept the air temps cool. As we approached the fishing spot there was a different kind of lightning in the air, we had 3 young Irish lads ready to catch some fish! Young Adam got the first bite...nice snapper, and then Luke, and then Nathan....and then the deck of the Jawbreaker fishing vessel turned into some sort of crazy fishing-frenzy-dance...if that makes sense!?...The fish box was filling up quickly-book a trip and you will understand!
What a great feeling it is to take the future of the world on a fishing trip. Although I have no children of my own, I hope to be a good influence on the kids that will build the next bridge, and fishing is the best way to teach them the patience, the passion and/but the responsibility involved with being a good steward to “Mother Earth”, and all of her surroundings. Thanks Paul, Chris and Julie for doing the right thing. Happy fishing, Capt.Dan
